Tribes gallery is delighted to present Space Travelers, a display by the legendary art-duo, Liz-N-Val. The gallery is a platform for the artists conception of Space and Time, where cotton clouds, rockets, recycled objects, and paintings present facets of their personal universe. These objects, with a nudge from the artists, acquire a life of their own. As space travelers, they move from the mundane to the sublime, from Rexall Drugs to the MuseuM of Truth-N-Beauty. Liz-N-Val have introduced their unique sense of scale into their constructed reality to articulate their spatial field events; a concept derived from physics. With their playfulness and wit, they touch upon critical social and philosophical issues. They assert, we have eliminated the gap between art and life.

Liz-N-Val have been collaborating for over 20 years. They are known for their media work, unorthodox methods of art distribution, and their public art Interactions. They have dragged their pet canvas, Woof in the streets of New York, Paris and Berlin. Recently, their museum, MuseuM of Truth-N-Beauty, formerly known as MuseuM of Something-N-Nothing, initiated the PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS. They are the founders of Abstractreaism, the art of constructed reality. Liz-N-Val have shown extensively, here and abroad, in galleries and museums. In 2003 they were  invited to participate in the 6th Sharjah Biennial, U.A.E. These young emerging talents have yet to be discovered by local art lovers. Gulsen Calik
